Rachel awoke in the luxury of her apartment, her hair messy as she yawned and stretched. She quickly dressed in a black tank top, leggings, and combat boots with a thick robe over it, showing her status in the Republic. She braided her hair and checked her reflection. She opened tge door to her room and walked down tge halls to breakfast.

Jake appeared seemingly out of nowhere and started walking next to Rachel. "Hi," he said.
Bella was walking along and saw the pair. immediately, she froze, before sprinting back down the hall and hiding behind a wall. She hated interacting with people, so she avoided it as much as possible.
Anna also saw the princeps elect and elector primo, and she walked quickly in her black high heels to catch up with them. "Hello," she said in a voice that suggested that she thought she was better than everyone else except, MAYBE, them.

She blushed and began to walk towards breakfast as well, staying well behind the others.

The young medic stretched, then put on worn jeans and a yellow t-shirt, over which she put a black cardigan. She flipped her brown hair into a knot and walked down to breakfast.

Cedar ran a cob once through short, dark brown hair, then put on short, frayed, light colored jeans and a black t-shirt. He walked down the hall, then turned a corner.

She shook her head vigorously- a little too vigorously- and said, "no, it's fine." She stood there awkwardly for a second before realizing that she had just spoken to a real, living human. And she didn't faint. Suddenly, she felt dizzy, and realized that maybe she had jinxed herself. "Bye," she gasped as she ran off.
