Flare waited for her final child.

Alice slowly walked into the room, a curious look on her face, as always. She peered at the bookshelves in the room, looked at the weird chair in front of her, and of course at the person who was waiting for her, trying to take it all in. Alice was an odd girl, always looking at everything and everyone as if she had x-ray eyes and could see through them. But she had gone through a lot as a child: disappearing, only to be found by a familiar tree in her front yard where the rabbits would hide in their hole. Alice had never been quite the same after that though was still the smart, kind, happy girl she had been before.

Flare's eyes flicked from her computer to Alice and back again and, her eyes still glued to the screen, she said, "sit down," in a moderately kind voice.

Alice did as she was told, though still stared at the room in a curious way. How could I take the aptitude test in this small room? she thought. Then she knew the answer: the appearance of the room must change somehow, a little like the place she had disappeared to as a child. An ordinary rabbit hole could never be home to talking flowers, mad hatters and crazed queens. Alice smiled to herself, content with her realization.

"Drink this," she said, walking over and handing Alice a vial full of a transparent blue liquid.

Alice took the vial and looked at it. THen she inhaled and coughed. Not because of the liquid, just because she needed to cough. "What is it?" she wondered out loud.

She grinned in a somewhat mischievous way (not mischievous like IT'S POISON HAVE FUN DYING but like MUAHAHA I KNOW SOMETHING YOU DON'T KNOW) and said, "drink it."

(omg lol so true whispey, whenever i do those two looks, everyone mixes them up ) Alice pouted, disappointed she wouldn't find out what it was, but obeyed and slowly drank the liquid, as if savoring it would give her the answer as to what it could be.

(it'd be funny if she shrunk cx)
The scene around her changed in the very second she blinked (remind you of anything?) and each wall was covered with a mirror. Flare and the cart that held her computer faded away along with everything else. Everything else except Alice.
(i would say 'and the chair' but that would kinda kill the mysteriousy mood in a way- so the chair is still there too- it'd be funny if it wasn't and she woke up and fell on her butt cx anyways... back to the 'serious' test)

(haha yah that would be hilarious ) (and no sorry that doesn't remind me of anything though it probably should- is it something about Alice in Wonderland?) As her eyes came open, Alice smiled as she looked at the mirrors. I knew the room would change! Alice quickly got out of the chair and went up to the mirrors. She looked at herself, mulling over the straight, thin, blond hair she had, the very fair skin and the brown and yellow (I think that is the amity colors, I don't remember) dress and tights. She frowned. Alice much preferred blue and white to the ugly drab things they wore in Amity. What a peculiar place, Alice thought to herself.

(no it was doctor who cx you've seen blink right?) The chair disappeared and was replaced by a pair of shining silver trays, one holding cheese, the other, a knife. "Choose," said a gentle female voice, echoing around the room.

(oh pshh yah sorry i totally spaced) Alice jumped as the plates appeared but then looked curiously at them. She didn't like choosing much but she was taught never to pick something harmful. Still, the possibilities of her asking! That always got Alice somewhere, right? "Why?" her voice barked, as if it had not said anything in a long time (which it hadn't).

"Choose," she repeated, her voice harsher this time.

Alice jumped as the voice ordered her to choose. But why was this choice so important........"Why do I have to choose?" she asked again. Then she mumbled quietly to herself, "Why can't we just have some tea and crumpets and have both milk and sugar in the cup instead of just one?" (oh the metaphors of tea and crumpets )

(cx) Both trays disappeared and an angry looking dog began to approach her, snarling.
