~ The kit looked around, having located the source of the strange smells. Even she, the three-moon-old kit, knew this was a border. Her rosettes stood out on her caramel fur, and her stunning light blue eyes looked around happily. "Hello? I'd like to join please!" she called perkily into the night. ~

Smallkit's ears pricked as he heard the small sound of a voice in the night. He had not been able to sleep and as he heard this sound, Smallkit peered out of the nursery and slowly padded towards the border, careful not to wake anyone. His glowing eyes widened as he saw the kit and he approached her. "Who're you?" he asked to the cat.

She smiled at him. "I'm Lea!" she said excitedly. "Are you, um..." she tried to remember the name of the clan. "Darknessclan? Shadeclan? No, ShadowClan!! Can I join?"

Smallkit laughed as the kit guessed the name of the clan. "Nice to meet you Lea! I'm Smallkit. Cause I'm small." he blushed, "I would love you to join but it's really not up to me. Our leader, Shadestar is the one who makes the decision whether you can stay or not." He looked behind him at his camp as the moon continued to bloom in the sky. "But I guess you can come in for now if you want. We might have to wait until morning to see if you can be apart of Shadowclan." he said as he began to walk towards the border. (does Lea need a crush cause Smallkit is open.....but if not that is totally fine, I would love for them just to be friends!)

Smallkit looked over his shoulder at her. "You can come in now if you want. I don't suppose anyone will mind if you stayed just one night. But be careful and try not to be seen." (is that ok that he lets her in? and if he's not supposed to, can we just pretend he didn't know?)

She grinned at him and carefully stepped across the border like it was a pit of lava. She trotted over to Smallkit

Smallkit began to go to the nursery, but then stopped. The moon hung in the sky, continuing it's journey. "I think it might be best not to come into the nursery." he blushed, "No offense." Smallkit looked around the camp, searching for a place she could stay. (idk where, you can pick if you want)

Smallkit smiled. "Alright then!" he said cheerfully, "See you in the morning!" Smallkit retreated to the nursery where he quickly fell asleep.

Shadestar woke up with a smile on his face. He had gotten an unusually good night's sleep and was unusually happy. He smiled at a couple cats as he passed, but it was still early, so there weren't many cats up. He had just made his way to the center of camp when he spotted a lump of fur in the camp. And scented an unusual scent. His smile faded quickly. He stomped over to it and prodded it with his paw. "Wake up," he growled.

Smallkit was up by this time as he was usually an early riser. Seeing his leader, he grimaced and his ears bent a bit. Uh oh, he thought.
