Luke nodded. "Ahh, training. The one thing you can do to get your mind off anything else. I know I've done a fair bit of training when...problems were happening in my life. Are you sure nothing else is going on?" he said, his eyes slowly filling with concern.

Luke furrowed his brow and looked at Amber. "You don't...you're ok? I mean...you can tell me. Whatever you need to tell me...you can say it." He reached out slowly to put his hand on her back, but then pulled away, worried that he would frighten her.

Luke frowned, knowing what that sort of thing was like. Hers were probably worse than his but they still gave you the same feeling: where you even meant to be in that family? "Oh. I'm sorry. That...that's really tough. But seriously, if you need anyone to help you, there are plenty of people that would be willing to talk. I know I would." he said, with a small smile.

"Of course." By then they had gotten to the "common room" area where there was a selection of drinks and snacks. "Do you want an espresso, latte, frappuccino...? Or do you take your coffee black?"

"Coming right up." Luke said, smiling. He told the guy behind the counter what she wanted and added an orange juice to the order for himself. Worrying that she would give him a weird look for his choice of drink, Luke smoothly said, "Citrus is good for you. It helps with your...bones? Eyes? Or is that carrots? Anyways, it's good for something."

Luke straightened his back as he sat down in a chair that was situated next to a table. "Who, me?" he said, in a rather non-convincing British accent. "Why, I have memorized all the elements in the periodic table alphabetically, I have no need for such nonsense as vitamin supplements!" Of course, Luke was trying to do a good interpretation of an Erudite, but he wasn't the best at it.
