Sarah watched Dylan and Cleo. She was excited to go on a quest but at the same time nervous. Her last quest has been so long ago....

Dylan remembered his last quest like it was only yesterday. It had been about 6 months ago, probably. It was awesome. Just him, a son of Poseidon, and a daughter of Aphrodite. The daughter of Aphrodite wasn't very bright, though, and a bit of a turd. Although, he felt pretty bad about thinking that when she lost her legs. She loved the attention it got her though. He wondered what happened to her... she had mysteriously disappeared not long after that. Probably ran away. Couldn't take 'having a fatal flaw in her appearance'. What a snob.

she could see the eye glases between them, but she looked for what was stopping the two of them.

Cleo had never gone on a quest. Never witnessed the gore, never experienced the pain. But she was ready. She didn't know why or how bit she knew that now was her time. Only say the word Dylan, she thought, and I'd go anywhere.

Sarah waited for Dylan to officially announce who he was taking on the quest.

Oh. Dylan hadn't realized that he was officially leading the group. Clearing his throat with a smile, he said, "Sarah, Cleo, would you come on the quest with me?" His deep blue eyes glowed momentarily as he said Cleo's name. His eyebrows were raised and his smile remained as awaited their responses.

He gave a worried smile. He hoped that they would all be safe...

Chiron nodded. "You may set out as soon as possible." He said this as he nodded, dismissing the group.

Dylan nodded. "Gather at the camp entrance in an hour," he said, his eyes serious. He the jogged back to his cabin and began packing.

Sarah nodded and ran to her cabin, her long ponytail swaying as she ran.

Cleo sprinted to her cabin, the hades cabin. She loved it. It reminded her of death and everything wonderful! Then, she started packing.

Sarah walked briskly through the Athena cabin and pulled out a grey backpack. She folded several changes of clothes and placed them carefully in her back. She then took out a plastic bag full of golden drachmas and a wad of mortal cash and stuffed them in a smaller compartment along with a few spare daggers. She stuffed in a water canteen, some snacks, and of course a bag of ambrosia.Sarah thought for a moment and decided to pack a book of Greek Mythology stories. Just in case. Sarah also crammed in a small hairbrush and a few hairties. She wasn't vain the way the children of Aphrodite were, but it was easier for her to fight with her hair up. And hairties make good makeshift weapons. Sarah grinned in satisfaction and sat down to read.

Dylan felt around under his mattress, his eyes lighting up as he pulled out a large paper bag. He scooped his hands in, feeling the cold golden drachmas on his hands before folding the bag up and cramming it into his black backpack. He also found a huge stack of mortal bills. There were probably thousands of dollars in twenties, all strapped together with a thin rubber band which seemed like it would break at any moment. He then stuffed a few pairs of jeans, some T Shirts, and some... other clothing... into the largest pocket. He grabbed his favorite dagger and sheathed it, carefully placing it in the bag along with a few smaller, less awesome daggers. He grabbed some keys and hid them in the smallest pocket of the bag along with a toothbrush and toothpaste. He quickly made a few sandwiches and placed them in a plastic bag before placing them in his backpack. Lastly, Dylan jammed a phone into one of the pockets. It wasn't an AWESOME phone, just an iPhone 4, but it would do. He checked his watch. 30 minutes. With a smile, he started playing on his DS.
