Hello, everyone!
This guide will show you how to get your character the aptitude you want.
It will explain how the test will happen, and what your character should do to get these results.
This may not be entirely the same as in the book. I just had to make some parts up.
You are in a room filled with mirrors. A woman's voice tells you to choose. You see a large block of cheese and a knife in front of you.
Dauntless would take the knife, Erudite would ask why, Amity would take the cheese, Candor would ask why, and Abnegation would take the cheese.
Suddenly, a dog appears. It is growling at you threateningly and approaching slowly.
Dauntless would stab the dog (if you do this, then the next italic portion would not happen for you), Erudite would use logic to analyze the situation, Amity would feed it the cheese, Candor would probably run, Abnegation would feed it the cheese.
The dog suddenly seems much nicer, and you pet it (or it chases after you and then it skips to the next part). Then a young girl appears not far from you. The dog growls and races towards her, and you know it will attack her.
Dauntless did not get this part, Erudite try to find a logical way to stop the dog, Amity would try to calm the dog down again, Candor would- I don't know, and Abnegation would jump on the dog.
The simulation changes to a bus. You see a carred man with a newspaper. He notices you and asks "do you know this man?" He points to a picture in the paper. Above the picture are the words 'Brutal Murderer Finally Apprehended!' You have a feeling that you know the mane, but you also know that something bad will happen to you if you tell the man.
Dauntless wouldn't tell him, Erudite wouldn't tell him, Amity wouldn't tell him, Candor would tell him (and then the test would be over), Abnegation would probably not tell him.
The man says now, "if you tell me, you could save me!"
Dauntless do not tell him, Erudite don't tell him, Amity wouldn't tell him, Candor would have already told him, and Abnegation would tell him now.
Divergents would have a blend of those. Pleas try to stick to these options. Thank you! Sorry if this is confusing. I will rp the simulation part, you rp your character's reactions.
