the kitten raced around camp, blindfolded by a blue bandana. she held a stick clamped firmly in her jaws, and she raced around whacking things with her stick. "take that! and that! ye deserve it you scurvy tree scum!" yes, she was dueling a tree. but hey, you had to start somewhere, especially if you wanted to be the best pirate ever one day. sailkit dropped the stick and flopped around, trying to get the bandana off. when it finally fell off, she was flecked with dirt, her fur sticking up like porcupine quills.

"hi miss!" the kitten chirped happily, icy blue eyes bright as she spotted the warrior. she hadn't noticed her there.
