This is the guide for all who don't understand how the Choosing Ceremony works.
Everyone sits in separate parts of a giant room based on their faction.
ex:
(each number is a faction)

The Erudite representative will introduce the choosing ceremony and the abnegation representative will call the names.
Your character has to choose between Dauntless, Erudite, Abnegation, Candor, and Amity.
There are 5 giant bowls in the middle of the stage. Your character will go up, take a knife, cut their hand, and let their blood drip into one of the bowls.
If you want your character to choose Dauntless, they will drip their blood into the bowl with burning coals.
If you want your character to choose Erudite, they will drip their blood into the bowl with water.
If you want your character to choose Abnegation, they will drip their blood into the bowl with gray stones.
If you want your character to choose Candor, they will drip their blood into the bowl with glass.
If you want your character to choose Amity, they will drip their blood into the bowl with soil.
'Divergent' is not a faction. Divergents must choose one faction.
Your character must choose a faction.
