The Unknown
History
The Unknown are a group of normal people, just like you and me. Here is the story of how they came together.
There were once two people, a boy and a girl. They were friends, but they were not particularly... attractive. They were bullied by almost every other kid in the school, and they were once threatened to be killed, and so they ran away together. The girl, her name was Callie, had the idea to create a society where not only did appearance not matter, but you couldn't tell what others looked like. Of course, they were only children and had no way of creating this perfect society. Years passed and they somehow managed to work through all the bullying and the boy, Johnny, grew to be very rich. He found Callie on Facebook and called her. They met up and quickly became best friends again. They were both still not particularly attractive, and were still occasionally picked on by their coworkers, and so, with John's money, they purchased a huge piece of land. Here they began building their new version of society with anyone who wanted to join. This was 300 years ago. We are now in the 24th century.
Territory
They live on the island. The island is called Freedom Island. It is just like any regular city, but a quieter and much prettier. There are still a lot of trees all over, and several rivers and hills. There are many buildings including a school, a few restaurants, many houses, and the High Council's House. I won't bother telling you their uses; it seems pretty self explanatory. The temperature rarely goes above 60, but it does occasionally happen.
People
I bet by now you're wondering why they are called 'The Unknown.' Well here you go. These people always wear robes and a mask. No one knows what the person they are talking to looks like. Then how do you identify everyone, you might ask? By the robe color and their charm. Each person is given a few robe colors to choose from when they turn 6. Until then, they wear white robes. Each robe has stripes at the bottom, top, and sleeves. The color of the stripes shoe the person's position. The colors are white, black, silver, or gold. White is for High Council Members, Black is for workers, like teachers or chefs, silver is for those over the age of 16, and gold is for children under the age of 16. Now to the charms. Each person gets to choose their charm. It can be any symbol, but it must be made of sterling silver. Charms go on a chain around their owners neck. Masks. Every person wears a solid white mask that covers their entire face. There are two little black shaded glass pieces over the eyes. There is a black netted hole over the mouth for speaking. And sorry, but there is no way to show emotion. If you want someone to know how you feel, you gotta tell them. If a person wants to, they may show another their face, but this is considered a great secret. Often, people's faces are shown only to those they trust very much. Oh, and I forgot to mention. This island is made up mostly of children. About 80% of the population is children. Adults are welcome to stay, but they often leave, or abandon their mask and robes. If a person wants to, they may completely abandon their mask and robes, but they may not have them back once they have abandoned them. Their charm is taken from them when they do this and it is painted on their face for one week so others can get used to their face instead of their charm. Everybody wears thin pants and shirt under their robes that are the same color of their robes (including the stripes). Their currency is the same as ours. One last thing about the unknowns- over the years they have sort of become magic. They can do small spells powered by their charms (but ONLY if they have their charm- Knowns can't do magic because they no longer have their charms)
Rules

You may not remove a person's mask or robes without their permission.
You may not steal a person's charm.
You may not remove your charm.
Anyone who chooses to abandon their robes, mask, and charm may never get them back, but will be buried with them (should they choose to stay with the Unknowns until death).
You may not tell a Known that they are ugly or in any way insult their appearance.
The Leader's word is law, unless 4 of the 5 council members disagree.
All regular laws apply.

No more than one high positions and one semi high positions (or two semi high positions) per person. In addition to this, you may have as many normal positions as you like.
