As soon as the Choosing Ceremony ended, Ruby, the Dauntless representative, stood, and began jogging out of the large room, knowing the Dauntless would follow, and the initiates would figure it out. Probably. She increased speed to a run as she hurried down the staircase, and then sprinted as she made it outside. She grinned as she climbed up to wait for the train, looking proudly over her members and new initiates. As the train approached, Ruby ran alongside it, and leaped easily into the first car.
April, now an initiate, followed the members as they ran. Even in her Abnegation dress, she managed to leap onto the moving train. She then watched to see how well other initiates fared. |

Flare appeared right beside Ruby only a moment later. "Hi," she said, barely even affected by the climb and jump.
Justin was whooping along with several other dauntless-born initiates as he scaled the structure easily. He leaped from the top to the inside of the train effortlessly, the muscles in his legs rippling.
Kyla looked around, momentarily overwhelmed by the chaos. Back in Amity, it had always been quiet and peaceful- and boring. This was actually pretty fun, once she got used to it. She saw the other Dauntless climbing a large structure and followed. She was pretty fast, because back in Amity all she could do for fun was climb trees, and she did that often, so she had practice. She smiled. Maybe a tiny advantage over the other initiates. Once she reached the top, she saw a train going by. She wondered where to go next, as the only way out was down, and it would be sort of pointless to go back. Besides, she hadn't seen any of the others climbing down. Then, she saw something and gasped. They were jumping. Onto the train. Onto the MOVING train. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and sailed over the gap perfectly, landing in the train with a faint thud. She stumbled on the hem of her long orange skirt once she got inside, and pulled it up so that it was just a bit above her knees before sitting down, taking several deep breaths.

Luke also appeared beside Ruby and Flare, having been there a while. It was all child's play to him. All of the initiates were so weak. "Hey." he said, smiling.

Luke looked around for a second. "Hey, where's Amber. I mean, just wondering. Don't mean anything to me, just-I mean, she should be here and stuff, and, well-I mean you know. Yah." he said, his ears slightly burning and his hand behind his head.

Ruby smiled at Flare. "Hi," she responded, grinning. She nodded a greeting to Luke.

Ruby smirked at Justin and glanced at Flare. Her friend often liked to tease some of the younger Dauntless.

Luke looked at his feet, then out the window, then at his feet again, then at Flare, then out the window again, and finally settled on looking at his feet. "Pshh, no. What do you mean? Nah. I'm-I'm good."

Ruby grinned as the train moved quickly toward the roof of a building. She let out a yell of delight as she leaped onto the roof, landing on her feet easily.
April looked up when she heard yells and whoops coming from the front cars and she poked her head out to see what was happening. They were jumping. Ok, this was Dauntless, after all. April jumped as she approached the roof, landing on her feet then falling to her knees. She smiled, and backed away to watch how well the others fared.

Flare, as the one who trains initiates, waited to make sure they all jumped. She looked to a small group who were huddled as far from the exit as possible and shouted (to be heard over the rushing wind), "if you don't jump, you're Factionless." A few of them nodded, got up, and jumped. She made a mental note to remember their faces: they would have to really prove themselves in training if they wanted to make up for this.
Justin let out a loud whoop as he jumped, landing on his feet, his arms out to balance him. A few of his friends clapped and he high fived them before whooping again.
Kyla took a deep breath and leaped. She grinned as she landed on her feet, stumbled slightly, but stayed upright.
Flare, having seen that just about every initiate had already gone, jumped off, landing easily on her feet.
