Ok.
I KNOW we did this on another site (LP, I think (but I might be wrong)).
So basically, what you do on here is pick a song that you think everybody would know and then just type the lyrics.
Please don't do some obscure song by some little known band. Do things like camp songs (more popular ones) or super well known songs like... idk something. Stick to songs that you know AT LEAST one other person would know, but please try to make sure that it's not just two people doing this. It's a whole site thing. I guess you could so something less known if you say what it is and who it's by (so people can look up the lyrics), but I'd stay to the basics. Plus, it's more fun to just hop in and start reciting the lyrics from memory (in my opinion)
Anyways.
Also, please don't hog the song. When you type a lyric, stop it where you think it should stop, or where the singer pauses. Don't make a post like this (the song I'm using will be Radioactive by Imagine Dragons, just as an example):
I'm waking up to ash and dust
I wipe my brow and I sweat my rust
I'm breathing in the chemical
Instead, shorten it to something like:
I'm waking up to ash and dust
and let the next person do the rest. If you feel the need to use more than one line for your lyric, it's too long. Also, do not post two lyrics in a row. Wait for someone else to post. Always keep someone else's post separating yours. Even if people are inactive. Just be patient
Please do not include lyrics like: woah, oh oh oh oh. Try to keep it to just the real words.
Also, if you do the last lyric of a song, please type 'end' at the end of your post so that others know when they can start the next song (and yes, anyone can start a song).
ANYWAYS (yes, this is the second time I've said anyways).
Enough instructions and boring stuff.
