The small girl sat down, her legs crossed delicately, smoothing down her navy blue blazer. Her rectangular blue glasses perched low upon her nose, she looked over the tops of them, all her attention focused on her book. It was her favorite, all about mathematics. Despite all her talents in just about every subject, math was easily her best, and her favorite, subject. She gently nudged her glasses up her nose a touch and smiled at her book. Her navy blue skirt flowed down to about her knees, and thin black tights stretched over her legs. A royal blue blouse was covered mostly by her blazer, and pretty silver gems dangled from her earrings. Royal blue shoes with short heels were placed carefully upon her small feet, and she wore a small silver charm bracelet. Every once and a while she looked up from her book, scanning the room for people. After a moment her eyes would flick back to the page as she read all about angles. She knew absolutely everything there was to know about them, but something about the way that this particular book defined them made it even MORE interesting. She flipped the page excitedly as she finished reading about alternate exterior angles for the 100th time. Literally. She had been counting.

Catherine walked slowly into the room, her dark blue heels clicking on the floor and matching skirt swishing with every step. She pushed her blue and silver glasses onto her head, for the were purely for vanity. She tucked her long hair behind her ears and leaned against the wall, her nose buried in her thick sci-fi book.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a flash of blue move by slowly. She glanced up at the girl, peering at her over her glasses. Seeing that the new girl was reading, her eyes slowly moved back down to her own book.

Now she looked up, her eyes lingering on the new girl. Her disapproving gaze turned down to her short skirt before she looked back to her book.

Catherine also looked up at the new girl before rolling her eyes at the length of the skirt. Her blue eyes flickered back down to her book.

Catherine looked up and flipped her book over so the other girl could see the cover. It read, 'Prodigy'. "It's the second in the series." Catherine said and turned it back and kept reading. It was the book that spotty was currently reading and is really good.
