Ruby walked briskly through the Dauntless compound and entered her office. She picked up a microphone and pressed a button. "Hello, Dauntless. If you are above the age of 16 and wish to administrate the aptitude test, please meet me in the Pit." She took her finger off the button and stood. Ruby exited her office and walked to the Pit, smiling as she remembered her own aptitude test.

Flare grinned. It was almost time. She would get to train initiates for the first time. She could hardly wait. Wanting to be as involved as possible, she skipped over to the Pit, jumping into it and walking over to Ruby. "Hi," she said happily, her green eyes looking brighter than ever.

Ruby smiled at Flare, sensing the younger girl's excitement. "Hello, Flare," Ruby replied calmly, but her eyes showed her excitement.
