He wrapped his blanket more tightly around himself and sighed.

(ahh doctor who) Juliette too sighed and sat, waiting. Then she heard something. Something that was very hard to hear and rarely heard. You could not touch it or smell it or fell it but you could hear it, looming from the shadows, waiting for an opportunity to arise and make itself present. It was lonely sometimes. Other times not. Some people loved it. Most of them didn't because just the idea could run shivers down their backs or send them running to nowhere. The inevitable sound known as silence had hit Juliette like a brick. It had stopped raining.

(that was a cool post- it kinda reminded me of the remember me poems cuz some people don't reveal who it is till the end- ya know?)
Jack heard it too and lifted his head. He let the blanket fall to the floor as he stood and popped his head out of the window (which, by the way, was broken) and smiled faintly as he saw the sunlight. "It stopped raining," he announced, although he wasn't sure if they had already noticed it.

(Thank you! And yah I do remember what you are talking about-totally!) Juliette grinned, standing up too. "Yah." she answered. She didn't mind the rain but the silence was better.

( ) He sat awkwardly on the tattered remnants of a couch in the corner and said, "so."

"So," Rose repeated awkwardly

"So I should probably go." Juliette said, finishing the sentence of everyone else. She started to walk towards the door.

"Where are you going?" he asked, sad to see her go.

She stopped for a second, looked back at him and sighed, "I don't know. I always seem to find someplace to go." she laughed half heartedly, "Everyone underestimates the amount of nooks and crannies this city holds. But I've been in almost every one." It was true: her life was everywhere, not just in one place. But Juliette liked it, it was better that way.

(gosh goldy some of your posts just seem like poetry: "Her life was everywhere, not just in one place." Mind if I use that quote in my signature or status?)
He nodded understandingly, but he seemed to be drooping as he said weakly, "bye, then. See you around?"

Rose stood. "I'll leave as well," she said, not wanting to bother Jack

(thanks whispey! and of course you can use that line! I would be honored to have the creator of this wonderful website use one of my quotes! ) Juliette smiled at Rose, thankful that she wasn't the only one leaving. And then she glanced back at Jack and said, "Of course. I'll always be around." Then she opened the door and stepped out into the now sunny world. And even though she was leaving, she knew she would be back. Juliette wasn't just about to disappear and forget about this place or Jack. She wouldn't be far.
