Lilywhisper saw the opportunity and sprang straight towards it's neck, unsheathed her claws and scraped them from the very top to the bottom of it's throat. It howled in pain and backed up, blood spraying everywhere (sorry for the gore). She closed her eyes for a second because Lilywhisper didn't want to take in the scene before her. The fox was dying and Lilywhisper was on the ground, her claws so red they were almost black. The fox was also going down fast and if Whitekit did not get off soon, she would be crushed under the fat and muscle of the beast.

(indeed ) The she-cat leapt from the fox just as its body collapsed. She turned her head, gagging at the overpowering stench of blood.

Lilywhisper too hacked over the disgusting image of the already rotting body. But then, seeing Whitekit, she immediately raced over to her. "Are you alright? Are you hurt?" she questioned her.

"I'm fine," she panted, still looking away from the fallen fox.

Lilywhisper sighed in relief. "Thank Starclan." She too looked at the fox, musing over how big of an animal could die so quickly. I guess everything really is in balance, she thought, remembering something her mother once told her.

Whitekit realized she was trembling. She tried to stop herself and failed, but it wasn't a very hard tremor, so she ignored it. "Do you think we should stay in the cave or find somewhere else to rest?" she asked softly.

Lilywhisper looked at the kit and answered, "Stay in the cave. If we fought so hard to keep it then we should stay. Anyways," she said, sniffing the air, "I cant detect that there is another fox."

She nodded, relaxing. "Ok, I'll go get us some moss for nests," she mewed, wandering over to a nearby tree. She scraped a bunch of mass of the bark and returned to the cave, spreading it out into two round nests.

"Thank you." Lilywhisper murmured. She shivered in the cold. (can cats make fires or something cause she could do that if they can)

Lilywhisper started to build a big enough fire that could warm both her and Whitekit. As she did, she thought of many questions that would soon be answered: what does the moonpool look like? What happens when I get my 9 lives? Will I feel any different after I have? Will I get to see Starclan? If so, could I ever see my mother again? What will happen when I get back to the clan? Will they except me? Will I be a good leader? How many decisions will I have to make? Oh, I hope I don't have to make a ton of decisions...

(as much as i love the idea (i do- i really do) i'm sorry, but cats would be scared of fire and it could burn the forest down and they couldn't really start it ) Whitekit went to look around for other things to line their nests with when she saw a fluffy young bird. She began to stalk it and after catching it, began to pluck it's feathers off. Once it was completely bald, she took a big bite. She would've taken it back to eat, but she didn't want to seem like she was rubbing it in that she could eat and Lilywhisper couldn't. So she ate her delicious prey out in the forest with the song of birds and the faint blow of the wind. Once she was done, she buried the bones so their smell wouldn't attract any unwanted company. She then washed her face and paws in a nearby pool, gathered some water in a few bundles of moss, retrieved the feathers, and returned to Lilywhisper. "I brought some water," she mewed, setting one ball of moss in front of the leader and the other in front of herself. She then began weaving the feathers into their nests.

(GAH NOW I FEEL EVEN MORE STUPIDDD!! not because of you just because i post on the warrior page BUT I BARELY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT WARRIORS!! ;( So lets just pretend she was waiting for Whitekit to come back) Lilywhisper smiled at Whitekit and thanked her. She began drinking the water from the moss and quickly drank all of it.

(don't feel stupid! YOU AREN'T) She smiled in return before yawning and looking up to the sky. Reds, oranges, and yellows were streaked across it as the sun slid down to its hiding place. "I'm going to sleep," she murmured, her sentence ending with another yawn as she curled up in her nest.
